All bark and no bite

"The new manager threatened to fire me but I know he won't do it; he is all bark and no bite."


This man really don't thing he will be fired. Maybe he is accostumed with  this kind of intimidation. Certainly the new manager is just following instructions. Why someone would threat instead of doing?

 In Brazil we say that a dog that barks doesn't bite. You better don't believe in it , in both situations , the manager and the dog. Take care do not be fired and bite.
